In the month of September your child has been learning:

-to play cooperatively, sharing and taking turns
-to follow classroom routines
-to be independent by caring for our own belongings (lunch bag, coat, backpack)
-to be responsible by cleaning up after we have finished an activity

-letter sounds a, m, t, s and words that start with these sounds
-how to care for and use the iPads
-to investigate and explore things found in the natural world by using the 5 senses
-how to be a good listener to friends and adults
-to answer questions in a full sentence and use our manners

-to solve problems and ask for help when needed
-to sort items based on various attributes (size, shape, colour)
-to sing new songs, many with actions ( Days of the Week, Months of the Year, O Canada, Five Little Monkeys, Today is Sunday, Open and Shut Them, Goodbye My Friends)
-to identify and print our name
-to have fun while learning

Coming up this October be sure to look for:
